Craven Breeze Up Tour

Join us and see first-hand the candidates for this years’ Craven Breeze up Sales being put through their paces. The Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up sales is one of the premier 2 year old sales in Europe and attracts not only some of the top bloodstock but many international buyers. You will be accompanied by a bloodstock agent who will be able to explain what it takes to prepare these young horses and also enlighten you on what a prospective purchaser is looking for when hoping to buy a champion.

This special Breeze Up experience starts with a guided tour of the Newmarket Gallops. Witness the spectacle of seeing some of the 3,000 racehorses exercising on the heath before heading to the famous Tattersalls Sales Paddocks Restaurant where you will enjoy a hearty breakfast and have the opportunity to review the videos of the Breeze Up and study the sales catalogue.

Then head to the Rowley Mile Racecourse where you’ll be able to see the sales two year olds breeze over 2– 3 furlongs in front of trainers, bloodstock agents and prospective purchasers. Your tour concludes with a tour of the National Stud. Explore this impressive 500-acre stud and learn about its formation and the role it plays today. This is your chance to meet resident stallions, such as Stradivarius, as well as seeing mares and foals, including this year’s newest arrivals. You’ll also be in with a chance of meeting retired National Hunt Legend Lord Windermere.
