Discover Newmarket has an exclusive opportunity to visit Godolphin’s International Headquarters and home of the Darley stallions, Dalham Hall Stud, for a limited number of dates only. Visit this prestigious stud to view the facilities and one of the world’s leading sires, Dubawi. Also on show will his exciting son Too Darn Hot, outstanding Champion Pinatubo and five-time G1 winner Modern Games.

This exclusive tour will give you access to one of the finest studs you will ever see, and the breeding operation to the internationally renowned Godolphin Racing.

Enjoy a morning visiting the National Horseracing Museum at your leisure. The Museum opens at 10 am and your ticket includes access to all areas including Palace House and Rothchild Yard where you are welcome to join the behind the scenes demonstration at 11 am and view the Retraining of Racehorses exhibition.

Then hop onto the Discover Newmarket mini-bus and head to the impressive Godolphin’s Rehoming Yard just outside Newmarket. Here you will experience a bespoke tour of the facilities led by Cilla Leonard, Godolphin’s Rehoming Manager, accompanied by Penny Taylor, Godolphin’s UK Charities Manager. This will be followed by a ridden demonstration with one of the horses currently residing at Godolphin’s Rehoming accompanied by Louise Robson of Thoroughbred Dressage to demonstrate the retraining process and journey.

Louise is a dressage rider who specialises in the retraining of racehorses and competes at all levels both here and abroad. Louise has won both regional and national titles and her top OTTB, Quadrille, who was bred and raced by the late Queen Elizabeth II, was crowned RoR Elite Dressage Horse and RoR Horse of the Year in 2019.

Then there will be the opportunity to meet some of the retired Godolphin racehorses before enjoying afternoon refreshments with the opportunity to ask questions. You will then be driven back to the National Horseracing Museum.

1.45 pm Meet your Discover Newmarket Guide in the Foyer of the National Horseracing Museum. You will then travel by mini-bus to Godolphin’s Rehoming Yard

2 pm Enjoy a bespoke tour of the impressive facilities including a ridden demonstration.

3.15 pm Meet retired Godolphin racehorses.

3.30 pm Enjoy afternoon refreshments with opportunity to ask questions.

4 pm Return to the National Horseracing Museum.
